- 16 ounces avocados approximately 2 ripe avocados
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips melted, dark or milk chocolate
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup milk nut milk or dairy milk
- 3 Tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt Kosher or coarse salt
Add the 16 ounces avocados, 1/4 cup chocolate chips, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 cup milk, 3 Tablespoons maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/8 teaspoon saltto a food processor.
With the food processor on medium speed, mix until fluffy and smooth. Use a spatula to scrape down the sides throughout mixing.
Spoon into your serving dishes.
Garnish with fruit if desired. Serve and enjoy!
Use avocados that are ripe and soft to the touch for a creamy, smooth texture without any lumps. Overripe avocados that are brown inside might affect the flavor negatively.
Let the mousse chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together and the mousse to set to the right consistency.
